Caesars Entertainment has launched its newest online gaming platform, Horseshoe Online Casino, in Pennsylvania.
This is the first time the platform has expanded to a new state since its initial launch last month in Michigan. The Pennsylvania launch adds to Caesars’ offerings in the Keystone State, including Harrah’s Philadelphia.
After launching in Michigan, Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, said, “This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”
After getting the required approvals, the desktop and mobile versions of the platform will also be available in West Virginia, New Jersey and Ontario.
What Does Horseshoe Online Casino Offer?
The new platform offers a wide variety of exclusive Horseshoe-branded games, including:
- Horseshoe Rising Rewards
- 2x3x Horseshoe
- Horseshoe 3 Coin Cowboy
- Horseshoe Slick Riches LuckyTap
These new games are part of the platform's large gaming catalog, which also features popular titles found in Caesars Rewards casinos.
Pennsylvania Close to Joining MSIGA
Horseshoe's going live in Pennsylvania comes at a time when the Keystone State is inching closer to joining the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA).
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) unanimously approved the plan last week. This came after Governor Josh Shapiro sent a letter to PGCB on Oct. 10 requesting that the agency begin the process of negotiations for the state’s membership in MSIGA.
“History has shown that the increased customer base — which goes along with adding jurisdictions, which is referred to as shared liquidity — has increased the number of poker games available for play at various buy-in price points, and has generally helped the online gaming industry by creating more customer interest in online poker,” PGCB Executive Director Kevin O’Toole told Poker Industry Pro.
If lawmakers approve the move next month, Pennsylvania will join Nevada, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey and West Virginia — the other states already in the MSIGA.
