Spread Pick for Nuggets vs. Nets

It's still early in the season, but the Nuggets are still at a pretty big rest disadvantage to the Nets. Brooklyn will be without Ben Simmons for the first half of their back-to-back set, but the Nuggets are on their second night of consecutive games after eking out a win against the Raptors last night. Denver is also on their third game in four nights and fourth game in six nights.

One aspect of concern is the Nets are coming off an outright underdog win against the Bucks and this is somewhat of a letdown spot for Broolyn, but I'll take my chances fading a Denver team that is horrendous when Nikola Jokic isn't on the floor. In a bad rest spot for the Nuggets, he may play fewer minutes, making it even less likely that Denver can keep this two possessions or more.

Pick: Nets +5.5

Murray Player Prop Pick for Kings vs. Jazz

Keegan Murray Over 14.5 points

The Kings fake on the Jazz who are on the second night of a back-to-back. I’m targeting Keegan Murray to excel in this spot.

Currently, Utah is playing at the seventh-fastest Pace in the league and Sacramento at the 11th-fastest so this should be a game with plenty of possessions. Additionally, the Jazz are allowing the eighth-highest frequency of 3’s in the league, a spot where Murray is taking 50% of his shots.

Murray has also found success in this specific matchup. He has scored 15+ in his last six games against the Jazz and averages 22 ppg against them in his career.

This is a good bounce back spot after a 9-point effort against the Blazers. Although Utah limited Doncic last night, the team’s spot up shooters performed extremely well including Klay (18 points) and PJ Washington (12 points) who both play a bit of a similar role to Murray.

I’ll back Keegan Murray to score 15 points today.

Pick: Keegan Murray Over 14.5 points

Spread Pick for Kings vs. Jazz

Jazz +6

Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Kings are on a third in four, fourth in six. Utah is one of the tougher home court advantages in the league and the Kings have struggled to start the season. The Jazz have been third in Adjusted Offensive Rating, per Dunks and Threes, but they've also had the ninth-easiest schedule when it comes to opposing defenses.

The Jazz are playing Capture the Flagg, but they should be able to keep this to two possessions against a Kings team that has looked pretty rough to start the season and went winless in preseason. Don't bet this past +6 without reducing risk significantly.

Pick: Jazz +6

Williamson Player Prop Pick for Pelicans vs. Warriors

Zion Williamson 20+ Points (-180)

By Eric Gaston

This game has the potential for Zion Williamson to get on track. The Warriors will be without Stephen Curry, which limits them on offense, and they will have to find a way to manage without him.

On the defensive side, the Warriors aren't the biggest team. They have Draymond Green, but Williamson has the ability to overpower just about every Warriors player. He has struggled his first two games on the season against the Blazers, not cracking 20 points in any of those games and struggled with his shooting.

This can be the game where Williamson plays like his usual self by getting his points on efficient shooting.

Pick: Zion Williamson 20+ Points (-180)

Hawkins Player Prop Bet for Pelicans vs. Warriors

Tuesday, October 29

Golden State Warriors Logo
Jordan Hawkins Over 12.5 points
BetMGM Logo

By Bryan Fonseca

Hawkins' points prop has progressively gone up, but still, he has had 13 or more in three straight and is averaging 18 points per game to start the season.

Hawkins is seeing a large bump in minutes due to Dejounte Murray's hand injury, and as Murray will be sidelined for at least a month, Hawkins will be one of the Pels largest beneficiaries from a production standpoint.

Plus, this Warriors perimeter defense won't be the biggest deterrent in the world with De'Anthony Melton out.

Pick: Jordan Hawkins Over 12.5 points
