We have three NBA player props for Tuesday's jam packed 8-game slate, and we're focused on a trio of key players who could be in line for big (or poor) performances to open the first round NBA Cup group play today.

Hawks vs. Celtics will set the stage at 7 p.m. ET, and two of our experts have locked in picks for Atlanta center Clint Capela and Atlanta forward Jalen Johnson. The third and final player prop on out experts' betting card is for Suns vs. Jazz, which is set to tip off at 9 p.m. ET, so we'll also take a a look at Phoenix guard Bradley Beal.

Continue below for our NBA prop picks for Tuesday, November 12.

This line is far too high, all things considered. The matchup is not a good one vs. the Celtics, who are one of the best defensive teams in the league.

Clint Capela, specifically, has not been great vs. the Celtics over the past four games, scoring 2, 12, 14, and 4 points, with the performances of 12 and 14 points coming when he played 30+ minutes. He doesn't match up well against this team, and Onyeka Okongwu will likely end up getting more run.

Lastly, there is a good chance of a blowout with Trae Young missing this game and a massive 15-point spread, so Capela likely won't get a full complement of minutes.

Pick: Clint Capela Under 10.5 Points

This is a truly frightening fade on Johnson, who will be playing on a depleted Hawks squad. They have ruled out all of Trae Young, Bogdan Bogdanovic, De'Andre Hunter, Seth Lundy, Cody Zeller, Kobe Bufkin, and Vit Krejci. Early RotoGrinders projections have Johnson projected for a 35.93 PRA over 36 minutes. With only 10 projected players, it does seem reasonable that Johnson could get 36 minutes even if this game is a blowout, as the Hawks don't have many healthy players left.

The matchup is a tough one too, as Boston ranks 6th in defensive efficiency this season. Boston is listing both Jayson Tatum and Al Horford as questionable, so there's a chance they rest one or both of them knowing they likely have this game in hand. As of Monday night, Boston is a 15.5-point home favorite. You could certainly wait to get the Tatum/Horford news before locking anything in with Johnson, as having them ruled out would make this an easier matchup for Johnson and could move his PRA number up.

Again, it's a scary fade, as Johnson is already averaging 35 PRA this season and will now have all the usage he wants in this offense. But with so many injuries, it's also fair to wonder how efficient this offense will be against the defending champs and how many of his potential assists he'll be able to convert. This is a number he's surpassed in 4 of 11 games this season playing alongside Trae Young. My hope is that as the #1 option, Boston focuses their attention on him and makes anyone else on the Hawks beat them.

Pick: Jalen Johnson Under 39.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists

Bradley Beal is coming off a good game vs. the Kings where the game went to overtime, and that's likely why this line is so inflated. Even with Kevin Durant off the court for Phoenix, there likely isn't going to be enough usage for Beal to justify this line tonight against the Jazz.

He's averaging 21.35 points per 36 on the season, and he likely won't be terribly efficient. RotoGrinders has Beal projected for 3 full points under this number and my projections are in agreement making this a great EV bet.

Pick: Bradley Beal Under 21.5 Points
