Although Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have been putting on a show offensively in the playoffs, the Mavs will likely need scoring contributions outside this duo to pick up the win in Los Angeles.

Even in a game featuring Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, James Harden and Paul George, scoring can be tough to come by. Teams tend to tighten up defensively in pivotal Game 5s with offensive sets taking longer to unfold.
Andrew O’Connor-Watts unearthed a fantastic trend that points toward an under in this one:
“In games where the home team is the underdog, the under is 205-166-3 since 2005, including 7-1 this season if we include the Play-In Tournament. My projections put this in the low 200s, and I like it down to 206.
