DDR is averaging 38.6 MPG since the start of February while also scoring 26.5 PPG going over 24+ points in 13 of the 17 games (82%) this season he’s playing more than 34+ minutes in games without both Zach LaVine & Patrick Williams.
In his most recent game back in December, DDR scored 21 points BUT MISSED 11 OF HIS LAST 14 SHOTS. This season vs. IND, he’s averaging 20.5 PPG on 19.0 FGA, but shot a combined 4-16 from midrange (26.7 FG%). To put things in perspective, he shootings 42% from midrange on the season. So clearly his shot was flat these games.
As for the matchup, IND allows the 3rd most PITP (48% of DDR’s FGM) & the 3rd most 2PT Pull-Up FREQ% (40.3% of his FREQ%) post All Star Break. They also allow the most PPG to Drivers and PNR Ball Handlers (27% of DDR’s PTS).
Both teams have motivation on the line fighting for playoff positioning and the spread is only -3.5. Also it’s unlikely the Pacers will double DRR with threats of Coby White & Nikola Vucevic in the background. Pair together the matchup & a bounce back performance after the dud vs. DAL, and I love his chances of going over his points prop tonight. #PlayerProps

🎙️ discussed on Cash That Podcast
The Pacers host the Bulls tonight and they will be at a rest disadvantage tonight in their second night of a back-to-back set.
Tyrese Haliburton should have a big game though. He leads the league in assists per game (11.3) and potentials (18.8) and now gets a Chicago team who allows the seventh-most assists per game to their opponents.
Hali hasn’t looked the same after the All-Star Break as he did prior when he was putting up 14 assists games seemingly every single night but this is a get right spot against the Bulls.
In two games against Chicago this season, Haliburton has recorded 13 and 20 assists on 23 and 27 potentials. He’s crushed in this matchup due to Chicago’s proclivity to surrender the catch and shoot 3 coupled with their relatively strong point-of-attack defense.
Over the last 10 games, Chicago has allowed Caris LeVert (15), Luka (14), Draymond (12), Zion (11), and Fox (10) to all reach double digit dimes in this exploitable matchup.
I expect a big game from Haliburton tonight and for him to exceed 11.5 assists.
