A lot of “outs” here. Projecting between 24-27 MIN w/ Mitch Rob healthy. Game 5 was almost the perfect script for him ceiling wise. For starters, he didn’t pick up a foul vs. Embiid in the 1st quarter to limit his upside, went 4-4 from FTs, had a last-second basket, & connecting on four of his six assist chances. But the reality is, it’s very unlucky to be that efficient and his rotation situation isn’t safe with Mitch Robinson healthy to steal his minutes. I believe the strategy is for Hartenstein to open the game defending Embiid while he’s fresh & for Robinson to close the game defensively while Embiid is worn out. The 76ers are at home & there’s always a chance Embiid gets the friendly whistle. As for points - Hartenstein will have to be efficient knowing Embiid will be defending in drop coverage, & I believe the upside could be limited in Q1 with Thibs looking to get DDV involved early. For rebounds- he’ll need to box out Embiid and his rebound chances will be limited. For assists - again, it’s a nice sell-high after converting on 67% of his chances last game. #PlayerProps

Miles McBride has seen his role flourish as Coach Thibs has essentially cut down the rotation to 7 players with Precious Achiuwa as the (if needed) 8th player now that Bojan Bogdanovic is out with a season ending injury. McBride played 33.5 minutes in the Overtime Game 5 loss and scored 14 points on 2/7 shooting from 3. McBride also was able to close the game with all 12 in the 4Q and he had played 11+ 4Q mins in the 4Q the game prior. His floor is secure. Defense is a clear strength but one of McBride’s offensive strengths has been his 3 point shooting and he’s shot 41% from 3 point range. He helps space the floor similarly to Donte DiVincenzo but is a bit better defensively. McBride’s floor for minutes tonight is about 20 minutes, a threshold he’s cleared in every game this series. When he’s played 20+ minutes he has exceeded 9.5 points in 77% of games, at 25+ this jumps to 91%. My preferred way to ladder this is by betting on his 3s, a place where he shoots 54% of his shots this postseason. When he’s played 20+ minutes he has made 3+ 3s in 55% and in 25+ he’s hit in 64% and for 4+ he’s at 39% and 45%. I like the idea of McBride getting to 10+ and 3+ simultaneously with 4+ coming if he has a hot shooting night from deep.
