Two teams coming off of disastrous weeks will try to get back on track as Florida hosts Arkansas. Florida is 10-5, but has lost two in a row. On the other side, Arkansas is coming off of a pair of non-competitive losses to Auburn and Georgia.
Florida has been a different team at home than on the road, with six wins in its seven home games this season. The Gators have played a tough schedule and are 4-5 against top-100 opponents. Florida plays fast and has tons of individual talent, but struggles with consistency.
The same goes for Arkansas, which has struggled over the past week. The body language from certain Razorbacks players couldn't be worse and Eric Musselman has his hands full trying to figure things out. Also, Arkansas is just 1-4 in away/neutral games.
Here's NCAAB odds and a pick for Arkansas vs. Florida.
Prior to last week's debacles, Arkansas simply looked like one of the most inconsistent teams in college basketball. At their best, the Razorbacks are good enough to beat a top-10 team like Duke, but that was at Bud Walton Arena. At their worst, they took a home loss to UNC Greensboro and have been blown out twice by SEC opponents.
Arkansas is slightly better offensively than defensively, ranking 76th in offensive efficiency and 95th and defensive efficiency. The Razorbacks play at the 72nd-fastest tempo in the country and they love to get out in transition. They get to the free-throw line a ton and ranks seventh nationally in free-throw rate.
Musselman played the transfer portal harder than any coach in the country over the offseason and the results have varied. His latest addition, Keyon Menifield Jr., went scoreless in the loss to Georgia, but dropped 32 points on UNC Wilmington two weeks ago.
Florida is also inconsistent as the Gators tend to play up or down to their competition, which can make for close, exciting games.
Florida plays at the 11th-fastest tempo in the sport. Its offense can be lethal when it is at its best as the Gators rank 33rd in offensive efficiency. The Gators' biggest strength on offense is rebounding as they collect 41% of their misses, good for fifth in college basketball.
On defense, the Gators are great at limiting 3-point attempts, allowing opposing offenses to attempt to 31% of their shots from outside. With Micah Handlogten down low, Florida has a good interior defense and block shots frequently. However, they rarely force turnovers, which could be a missed opportunity against Arkansas' erratic guards.

Betting Pick & Prediction
In its current state, it's impossible to back Arkansas on the road. Florida should be able to secure enough stops to create separation here.
