College basketball takes center stage this Saturday as there's a boatload of marquee matchups on tap.
However, the immense amount of action has created many openings in the player prop market.
So, let's dive into our top three college basketball player props for today's slate.
We get things started in the Big 12, as the Kansas State Wildcats will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Wildcats are a ferocious team on the glass, and it'll be a defining edge over the Cowboys this afternoon.
One guy to target when it comes to boards is veteran Arthur Kaluma. Kaluma has been a force, as he's averaging 7.2 rebounds per game.
However, his prop is heavily juiced at 5.5. So, like we did last week, we found value in the alt market.
You can take Kaluma to haul in seven rebounds for plus money, without losing your mathematical edge. He's had at least seven rebounds in 60% of games played this season.
That gives us implied odds of -150, which is tremendous value on the alt price.
The DePaul Blue Devils are down bad. They come into this matchup against Xavier at 3-18 on the year, and it's safe to say they'll be outmatched yet again.
An interesting way to fade them today is by fading Jalen Terry. Terry appears to be getting far too much market respect here, as he hasn't proven he can surpass this total.
He's had three outlier games where he reached double digits, but those have been the only three games that he's gone over this point total.
The reason those performances are outliers is that he only has a usage rate of 1.8, and he's only played 37% of the available minutes thus far.
His under has a hit rate of 77%, which gives us staggering implied odds of -335 that he'll go under again tonight.
Lastly, we head out west to fade another guard who's put up some solid scoring numbers in his last 10 games. However, his performances have inflated his points total tonight.
Isaiah Pope and the rest of the Fresno State Bulldogs are set to face a Colorado State club that's been stout on the defensive end. At 16-5, the Rams have proven to be a difficult matchup for many teams, and they should lock down Pope tonight.
Pope has shown range from all three levels of the court, but he's been in efficient from deep, and hasn't had a ton of volume inside the arc.
On top of that, Colorado State has been excellent at defending the mid-range and hasn't allowed many points in the paint.
Aside from the matchup, Pope has gone under this number 74% of the time this season. That hit rate swings the odds in our favor, as we have implied odds of -285 that he'll go under again tonight.
