Saturday's college basketball slate is jam-packed with wagering opportunities, but during the evening portion of the schedule, there are a few player props you don't want to miss.
Let's take a look at three Saturday college basketball player props I love.
The No. 3-ranked UConn Huskies will open up Big East play on Saturday night against the Butler Bulldogs in Indianapolis.
UConn has done nothing short of completely dominate every team it's played so far this season.
The Huskies are 27th in the nation in rebounds per game, and more importantly, they are third in college basketball when it comes to limiting teams on rebounds, holding opponents to just 28.7 boards per game.
Sanogo, specifically, has been a force around the basket, averaging 6.6 rebounds per game. He's only gone over six rebounds once in his last five games, but I expect him to dominate against Butler.
He has also played less than 29 minutes in all but one of his last five games. Expect Sanogo to stay on the floor longer if he can avoid foul trouble.
Kansas State will take on Nebraska on Saturday night.
While the Cornhuskers do bring games to a grinding halt with an Adjusted Tempo that ranks 290th, I think Johnson can still score plenty in this matchup.
The Cornhuskers have allowed teams to make 64.5% of their shots at the rim on the season and have struggled even more from deep, allowing teams to hit 33.3% from 3.
Johnson is averaging 17.3 points per game so far on the year.
What stands out most about him is he's second on the team when it comes to true shooting percentage at 70.4%. Even if his shot attempts are limited due to pace in this game, he rarely misses, and I still fully expect him to get 16 points or more.
Johnson has had 16 or more in all but one of his last five games.
The Wolfpack are one of the most dynamic scoring teams in college basketball. Terquavion Smith has led that attack, averaging 18.3 points per game. In his last three games, he has produced 24, 19 and 33 points.
Vanderbilt will look to slow the game down, but I don't expect the Dores to have any answer for NC State's elite scoring ability, especially Smith.
Vanderbilt is also averaging 17.7 fouls per game, as opponents have racked up 18.9 free-throw attempts per game. As a team, the Wolfpack have struggled at the line, but Smith is one of the better shooters on the roster at 70.5% on the season.
He should be able to add to his scoring with ease by getting to the line. Smith is drawing 3.8 personal fouls per game and ranks in the 94th percentile in all of college basketball.
