Check out Tony Sartori's NHL best bets and anytime goalscorer picks and predictions for Sunday, April 28.

Today's NHL games feature come pivotal matchups as the Stanley Cup Playoffs continue. I have three NHL anytime goalscorer picks for the action.

Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Sunday's NHL day game features Game 4 between the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche. Colorado has been all over goaltender Connor Hellebuyck in this series, and the Avs have scored four or more goals against him in each of the first three games.

Nichushkin scored in all three of those games, and I believe that success will continue in Game 4. First, Nichushkin is a power-play specialist with 57% of his regular season goals coming on the man advantage.

That is worth noting because Winnipeg finished the regular season ranked 21st in the league in penalty-kill percentage. These special teams woes have continued into the postseason as the Jets rank 13th among the 16th playoff teams in penalty-kill percentage, so it's not shocking that Nichushkin scored on the power play in Game 3.

Until he gets left off the scoresheet, it is worth continuing to back Nichushkin in this series.

Pick: Valeri Nichushkin (+165 at FanDuel)

Sunday's NHL nightcap features Game 4 between the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings. Oddsmakers are expecting another high-scoring affair with the total set at 6.5 once again.

Forgive me for this "sky is blue" comment, but a high-scoring game obviously bodes well for targeting goalscorer props, and we will begin with Edmonton forward Zach Hyman.

Hyman put together the best year of his career as he led the team in goals with an astounding 54.

Yes, almost all of them were tap-ins around the crease as Connor McDavid carved up defenses before finding Hyman in the back door. However, 54 goals is 54 goals, and we have seen this exact story play out similarly over the first three games in this series with Hyman scoring in each of them, posting six goals in the process.

Five of those six goals were assisted by McDavid, and as Hyman continues to skate alongside the world's best player, then I will continue to expect him to find the back of the net.

Pick: Zach Hyman (+130 at FanDuel)

I'm risking a half-unit on Hyman to score along with another half-unit on his teammate Leon Draisaitl.

I am fairly confident that at least one of these two guys will find the back of the net, which would guarantee a profit. And, if both score – all the better.

We hit this exact stack in my goal scorers preview for both Game 1 and Game 3 of this series, and they both found the back of the net. I'm not patting myself on the back, but I am saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

These guys are both likely to continue to torch Talbot, a guy who has allowed three or more goals in nine of his past 11 starts dating back to the regular season.

Los Angeles' netminder has now allowed three or more goals in eight of his past 10 starts dating back to the regular season. Talbot possesses a .879 SV% and 3.60 GAA over that stretch.

Finally, Draisaitl has torched the Kings over the past couple of seasons, scoring 12 goals over the past 14 meetings.

Pick: Leon Draisaitl (+150 at FanDuel)
