Check out Tony Sartori's expert NHL picks with anytime goalscorer predictions for Oilers vs. Panthers Game 2 on Monday, June 10.
The Stanley Cup Final rolls on tonight, and the latest Oilers vs. Panthers odds for Game 2 have the home side as a small favorite.
I have two NHL anytime goalscorer picks for the game (8 p.m. ET, ABC & ESPN+), which you can find below.
Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Oilers vs. Panthers
Florida Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe kicked off the scoring in Game 1, and I want to continue to back one of the team's best pure goalscorers.
Verhaeghe leads the Panthers in goals this postseason and has now scored four goals over his past seven games. This success is likely to continue against the Edmonton Oilers, considering that he has buried the puck four times over the past three meetings between these two clubs.
I also want to sell high on Edmonton goaltender Stuart Skinner, who is overperforming and due for regression. That regression started to develop in Game 1 as he surrendered two goals on just 17 shots for a mere .882 SV%.
He now possesses a .889 SV% over his past two outings against Florida.
Pick: Carter Verhaeghe (+175 at FanDuel)
Oilers vs. Panthers
I'm risking a half-unit on Verhaeghe to score along with another half-unit on his teammate Matthew Tkachuk.
I am fairly confident that at least one of these two guys will find the back of the net, which would guarantee a profit. And, if both score – all the better.
Tkachuk is a guy who always seems to elevate his game in the postseason. While he has gone quiet over the past few games, now is the time to buy low on one of the most talented forwards on Florida.
Furthermore, Tkachuk has traditionally fared well against Edmonton, scoring seven goals over the past 13 meetings. He is also tied for second on the team in even-strength goals this postseason.
I mention that stat because the Oilers rank 11th out of the 16 playoff teams this postseason in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60) at 5-on-5. Tkachuk is just simply a player who possesses the ability to find the back of the net from anywhere on the ice, whether it be a snipe from the top of the circle or in the middle of a scrum net-front.
Finally, at least one of Tkachuk or Verhaeghe has scored in 11 of the team's 18 postseason games thus far. They have both scored in three of those eight outings.
