We've got a rare Friday night Week 1 game in Brazil. My Packers vs Eagles touchdown scorer picks are a couple of touchdown props centered around talented, young wide receivers.

Let's get right into it!

Jayden Reed emerged as a go-to option for the Packers in his rookie season, finishing with 11 touchdowns last year.

Reed lined up in the slot more than 70% of the time as a rookie, and the Eagles were a bottom-five defense against slot receivers last year.

They addressed that problem during the offseason in the form of first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell, but I worry about the step-up in competition for Mitchell in his first NFL game compared to what he saw at Toledo.

Mitchell also struggles more when playing man coverage. The Eagles played man at a higher-than-average clip last year, and Reed ranked in the top-half of wide receivers against man coverage (1.9 yards/route run).

Outside of Mitchell, the other two defensive backs likely to line up against Reed also project as neutral to good matchups for him. Darius Slay is nearly 34 years old and saw a drop-off in his play last year, while Kelee Ringo is a second-year man who was a fourth round pick last year and played only 116 snaps in coverage as a rookie.

Christian Watson Anytime Touchdown (+210)

Christian Watson is an athletic gift and enters this season fully healthy for seemingly the first time in his entire career.

As I mentioned above with Reed, the Eagles struggled against the slow, but they also struggled as a whole against wide receivers, allowing the second-most touchdowns to wide receivers overall last season.

With no James Bradberry because of a leg injury or Isaiah Rodgers with a hand injury, it'll be hard for the Eagles to use Slay to shadow Watson given they have Reed and Romeo Doubs to worry about as well.

Green Bay also likes to move Watson around and may even toss him the occasional carry. He's very dynamic and hard to game-plan for, which is bad news for the Eagles' secondary.

I think at least one of Reed and Watson is scoring a touchdown tonight. We just need one of the two to hit to profit, so I like the value in betting both of them.

Pick: Christian Watson Anytime Touchdown (+210 at FanDuel)
