Seahawks vs Titans odds for NFL Week 16 have Seattle installed as a 3.5-point road favorite on the spread with a game total of 41.5. However, I'm targeting a team total in search of my NFL pick.
The Seahawks are coming off a huge win on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. Not only did they enhance their chances of making the playoffs, but they did it with backup quarterback Drew Lock at the helm. The Seahawks find themselves on the outside looking in for the playoffs, but a win can increase their postseason chances from 50% to 65%. They'll also have Geno Smith back at quarterback as he carries no injury designation.
The Titans have been eliminated from the playoffs, but they still have a lot to figure out heading into next season. What better time to iron out some of those issues than right now? If last year’s Week 18 Green Bay-Detroit game showed us anything, it is that teams revel at the chance to play spoiler.
The Titans have very little draft position to gain, so why not go out with a bang? Let’s dive into my Seahawks vs Titans prediction.

Seahawks vs Titans Prediction, Pick
The Seahawks enter this game at a situational disadvantage.
They are coming off the high of a last-minute win against the Eagles, not to mention with the bright lights of primetime shining down on them. The Seahawks played one other Monday night game this season back in Week 4 against the Giants. The following week, they had their bye, which leaves us with no sample for their performance after a Monday Night Football game.
But we do have one instance of the Seahawks on a short week. They played the 49ers after just four days of rest — they lost 31-13.
Geno Smith threw for 180 yards and the Seahawks rushed for a total of 88 yards. They went 3-for-11 on third down and 0-for-1 on fourth down. Needless to say, their performance on short rest was less than stellar.
They find themselves in a similar spot against the Titans.
Seahawks vs. Titans Picks | FanDuel
The Titans are at a scheduling advantage, playing their second straight game at home.
Tennessee's defense has gotten a bad rap this season, but the defensive statistics don’t tell the same story. The Titans allow the 13th-lowest yards per play and the eighth-lowest rushing yards per play — not to mention, their unit boasts the lowest red-zone touchdown rate.
While the Titans allow the eighth-most passing yards per play, their ability to get to the quarterback has greatly improved throughout the season. Over the last six weeks, the Titans’ pass rush has logged a PFF rating of 60.5 or higher. In the first 10 weeks of the season, they logged a sub-60.5 pass rush rating on three occasions.
Seattle has one of the worst pass-blocking units, logging a PFF rating of 54.1, and a sub-50 rating in three of its last four games.

Betting Picks & Predictions
The Titans’ defensive domination in the red zone paired with the Seahawks' short-week woes is the perfect recipe to bet on Seattle’s offense to stagnate on Christmas Eve.
