Collin Whitchurch

Collin Whitchurch is the manager of cross-platform content at Action Network, working directly with on-air talent, editors, and producers on efficient prioritization of coverage across the editorial, video, and audio mediums. Prior to his current role, Collin was the senior MLB editor at Action, managing the day-to-day content produced about baseball.

Collin's current role involves a significant amount of planning and development of content around key events, but he cut his chops in the industry as an editor. His first role at Action was as the editor of the MLB vertical, working with writers and other editors to cover everything under the sun involving the sport of baseball. He also pitches in with content management for niche events such as the Academy Awards and WWE events such as the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

Prior to joining Action, Collin spent 12 years in the newspaper industry as a writer, editor, and designer, working on major localized sporting events including multiple college football national championships, Super Bowls, the Masters and more. Collin specializes in writing, editing and managing content workflow.

While working full-time in the newspaper industry, he concurrently worked for Baseball Prospectus as an associate editor.

Collin started betting on sports as a college student in 2008. He discovered Action during the pandemic when he was stuck at home on Saturday nights watching UFC pay-per-views, and decided to look for ways to bet it.

Collin graduated from Eastern Illinois with a degree in journalism where he covered the football team after Tony Romo was there but before Jimmy Garoppolo arrived.
