Ian is the soccer team's primary Major League Soccer analyst, a league he has covered extensively for nearly a decade.Turned a curiosity for wagering on the less exposed MLS market into an occupation with the legalization of sports betting in Pennsylvania and later Maryland. He also covers soccer for MLSsoccer.com, Forbes.com and Field Level Media, and other sports for the Associated Press and MLB.com.

Ian is the primary Major League Soccer and CONCACAF contributor for Action Network. He also analyzes trends and stats relevant to all soccer bettors and contributes to the soccer team's Premier League Coverage. He also covers soccer on a freelance basis as a contributing editor at MLSsoccer.com, and a contributing writer for Forbes.com and Field Level Media. A jack of also trades, you can also find him at the Washington Wizards or Washington Capitals for the AP during the MLS offseason, or the Washington Nationals or Baltimore Orioles for MLB.com during a weekday series between MLS weekends.

Ian graduated from American University in 2006 with a major in journalism and minors in literature and sociology. He spend 3.5 years working for the sports section at The Eagle, AU's independent student newspaper.
