
James Lumalu
James is Action Network’s MLB Senior Editor. He manages day-to-day operations of the vertical and monitors the performance of stories using various data tools. In his first season in charge, he oversaw an increase in MLB regular-season readership by 7% when compared to the 2023 season, as well as huge growth in the postseason with a 52% surge in organic search results. James initially signed with Action in 2022 as a General Editor. He worked alongside Matthew Trebby on NFL coverage before getting promoted to Senior Editor in 2024. James still does NFL stuff when baseball is in slumber.
James is a Senior Editor at Action Network. He works with Action’s top talents like Sean Koerner, Sean Zerillo, Chris Raybon and more. Prior to joining Action, James worked for MLB Advanced Media and FOX Sports.
James graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2013 with a degree in communications.
