Summary

Mark helps bring the best sportsbook offers from operators to the bettors at Action Network. He has been in the betting industry since he graduated from Bryant University in 2015. A lifelong Boston sports fan, Mark gets a kick out of researching and betting on "unpopular" sports such as cross country skiing and the spelling bee...if you consider that a sport.

Experience

Mark is the director of affiliate operations at Action, where he oversees day-to-day tasks and manages relationships between sportsbooks. He began his career at Sports Insights, one of the companies that eventually merged together to form the Action Network. Over the years, Mark has provided betting news under the tutelage of PJ Walsh, written newsletters and helped build Action's affiliate program.

Education

Mark graduated from Bryant University, where he majored in communications and minored in business. He covered the Bulldogs baseball team for The Archway and anchored shows such as Marky Mark and the Bobcat and Top Shelf Sports at WJMF radio.

Betting Highlights
Favorite Bet of All-Time
The great hot dog counting controversy of 2018. After max-betting Carmen Cincotti's HDB (hot dog & bun) over/under of 57.5, Mark sulked in disgust when his scorecard read 45 as time expired. But wait! After further review, there were multiple glaring miscounts, and Cincotti's true figure of 64 HDB was revealed after TV coverage ended. Initially graded as a loss, Mark spent multiple hours of his 4th of July afternoon talking with customer service to get his wager rightfully overturned.
Most Heartbreaking Bet
Spongebob Squarepants did not make a cameo in the Super Bowl 53 halftime show. Though a longshot at 5-1, all signs pointed to yes. Maroon 5's decision to not include him in their performance ruined Mark's otherwise perfect prop card on the day.
