Orioles vs Rays MLB Betting Preview

Trevor Rogers might be broken. He returned after missing a couple of weeks with an illness and was hammered for six earned runs over four innings. Since opening the season with three quality starts, Rogers has been pounded for 18 earned runs across four starts. His fastball was one of the most effective pitches in the league last season. It's been crushed for a .296 batting average and .537 slugging percentage this season. The movement on the pitch has been different so far.

Shane McClanahan has ripped off four straight scoreless starts. The control issues he showed early in the season have evaporated, with just two walks to 16 strikeouts in May.

Neither offense has excelled against left-handed pitching this season, but it's a much better spot for the Rays' bats.

Pick: Rays First 5 Innings -0.5 (+104, FanDuel)
