Rockies vs Mets Pick, Best Bet
Freddy Peralta has had an up-and-down start to the season, but if we compare both starters' track records throughout their careers, the Mets pitcher offers a clear edge over the Rockies' Michael Lorenzen.
New York is a team with many concerns, with a 2-8 record over the last 10 games, and it hasn't performed all that well at home (5-7). Then again, the visitors' case is less than appealing, with Colorado winning only three of 13 games so far on the road.
With Juan Soto back in the lineup, New York's chances already improve, and if he happens to face a pitcher with a .419 BABIP, even better.
The Mets just produced 10 runs against the Twins yesterday, which could be the beginning of the long-awaited offensive explosion.
Pick: Mets ML (-219)
