Minnesota Twins vs Detroit Tigers MLB Preview
Casey Mize Over 14.5 Outs Recorded
In Monday night's matchup, the Tigers open a series against the Twins, and we’re backing Casey Mize to bounce back on the mound.
Mize has struggled since the All-Star break, throwing just five total innings across two starts.
However, tonight’s game sets up as an ideal rebound opportunity.
The Twins have been in disarray since the trade deadline — they lost Carlos Correa and Harrison Bader, and Byron Buxton remains out of the lineup.
With Minnesota struggling to generate offense, Mize should have a much smoother outing.
It's also worth noting that the last time he faced this Twins lineup, he recorded 20 outs and allowed only 2 runs.
Tigers Moneyline
We're also backing the Tigers on the moneyline tonight.
They have the edge in pitching, a more consistent offense, and home-field advantage.
This appears to be a bullpen game for the Twins, which only strengthens Detroit’s position.
With a more stable starting situation and a slumping opponent, the Tigers are well positioned to take care of business and start the week strong.
