MLB Home Run Picks for August 12

Julio Rodriguez Home Run (+400)
Mariners vs Orioles, 6:35 p.m. ET

Going hard on the Mariners' bats today over in Baltimore.
The weather is great for hitting, with temperatures in the high 80s and the wind blowing out, with WeatherEdge giving a 20% boost to home runs.
Kremer is a plus-matchup for lefty power, and while he's only been average for righty power, he's due for some regression and grades out as a plus-matchup for both sides of the plate.
Julio Rodriguez has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last month, and I have the true odds around +300 today, making this a great EV bet.

Pete Alonso Home Run (+375)
Braves vs Mets, 7:10 p.m. ET

This is strictly a price play.
Strider isn't the same pitcher he used to be, and he's an average matchup for righty power.
The weather over in New York is good for hitting today, with WeatherEdge giving a 17.4% increase to home runs.
Pete Alonso has been in great form for the Mets recently, with four bombs in the last 10 games, and he's far too good of a hitter to get these odds in an above-average spot.
I have the true odds on Alonso around +300 today, making this a great EV bet.

Shea Langeliers Home Run (+280)
Rays vs Athletics, 10:05 p.m. ET

I'm also going hard on the righty power bats for the Athletics tonight.
Rays' pitcher Shane Baz has been crushed by righty power this season, giving up a high 1.70 HR/9 to go along with heavy hard-contact numbers.
This ballpark is great for hitting, and the weather should also be great for hitting, with temperatures in the mid-80s and wind blowing out at 10 mph.
Shea Langeliers has been one of the hottest hitters in the league, with 10 home runs over the last three weeks.
I have the true odds here around +225, making this a great bet.
