The Baltimore Orioles travel north of the border to begin an important four-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays tonight.
The O's are in the midst of a 14-game stretch against American League East opponents and have started 4-2 after winning a pair of home series against the Red Sox and Rays.
The Blue Jays are creeping closer toward the .500 mark after winning five of the past six games, but they still sit 12.5 games behind the Yankees for first place in the division.

The Orioles bounced back after getting swept on the road against the Cardinals in late May by posting an 8-2 record in their last 10 games.
However, the Yankees have also gone 8-2 in this stretch as the Orioles haven't made up any ground and sit three games out of the lead in the AL East.
Baltimore captured the first two games this past weekend against Tampa Bay and held a 3-0 lead on Sunday. However, Tampa Bay rallied back with four late runs to snap Baltimore's four-game winning streak in home series finale.
Grayson Rodriguez takes the mound tonight for the Orioles, and his home and road splits are drastically different. At Camden Yards, Rodriguez owns a solid 2.12 ERA compared to a 5.48 road ERA.
To be fair, his away ERA blew up in a 7-4 loss to the Angels in late April as he allowed seven earned runs and 11 hits in fewer than five innings of work. In Rodriguez's other three road outings, he yielded two earned runs each time as the O's went 3-0 in those games.
Last season, Rodriguez faced Toronto three times as Baltimore went 1-2 in those contests. Two games were decided in extra innings (the teams split those games), and Rodriguez was on the losing end of a 4-1 decision at Toronto despite allowing only two hits in 5.2 innings.
The Orioles and Blue Jays exchanged a pair of 3-2 wins at Camden Yards last month, which included Baltimore rallying for two ninth-inning runs in a walk-off triumph in the finale of the two-game set.
The Blue Jays aren't going to get a pat on the back for sweeping the White Sox and taking two of three from the Pirates, but it's a start for this Toronto team just trying to put together a hot stretch and climb back into the Wild Card race.
The rest of June is no cakewalk for Toronto, as the Jays hope to avoid a slip-up in Oakland this weekend. After that, Toronto then faces Milwaukee, Boston and Cleveland for two series apiece before wrapping things up with the Yankees at home.
Kevin Gausman spent his first six seasons in Baltimore from 2013 through 2018 and faces his former team tonight while trying to turn around last season's woes with the O's.
The Jays posted an 0-3 record in Gausman's three starts against the Orioles, while Toronto's offense provided the right-hander with only four runs in those games. One loss had a misleading final score as Toronto fell to Baltimore in 11 innings by a score of 8-3, even though Gausman tossed eight innings and allowed only two runs.
Gausman has turned things around since a slow start to 2024 as the Jays began 1-4 in his first five outings but have rebounded with wins in five of his last six appearances.
Gausman yielded one run in each of his past two trips to the mound in road wins over the Tigers and White Sox. He looks to lower his home ERA, which sits at 6.20 entering Monday's action.
Orioles vs. Blue Jays
Betting Pick & Prediction
Toronto has dug itself a large hole through the first two months but can still make a comeback with a strong June.
The good news is the Jays are playing better of late and have performed well with Gausman on the mound.
It's hard to pass up Gausman at this cheap price at home, even against a team like the Orioles, who have lost consecutive games five times this season.
