It's do-or-die time for the New York Yankees, as they've been pushed to the brink after three games of the Fall Classic.

With the potential for a new MLB champion to be crowned tonight, let's dive into two Dodgers vs Yankees prop bets for Game 4 of the World Series.

In Game 3, the Yankees handed the ball to a young pitcher, Clarke Schmidt. His outing did not go well, as he left in the third after allowing three runs and walking four.

Now, with the season on the line, Aaron Boone will turn to rookie right-hander Luis Gil. He has plenty of upside, but since returning from injury, he's yet to be fully trusted.

The thing to watch out for with Gil is his fastball command. He averaged 2.7 walks per start this season and often pitches into deep counts, which is not good for working deep into games. Add that to the fact that the Dodgers are incredibly patient, holding the second-highest walk rate against right-handed pitching, and you have yourself a recipe for a short outing tonight from Gil.

At 12.5, the juice is worth it, as it's unlikely we'll see Gil get through the lineup twice. However, you can play to 11.5 as well.

The Yankees were finally able to keep Tommy Edman out of the hit column last night, and there's a clear path to him staying quiet again in Game 4. Edman has been a guy we've backed multiple times this postseason, but that is because of his tremendous splits against lefties.

Tonight, he should see a lot of right-handed pitching, as both Nestor Cortes and Tim Hill were used yesterday. Edman's splits are drastic, as he's hit just .181 off righties versus 412 off lefties.

His first at-bat will be uncomfortable, as Luis Gil has been tough to hit in general, holding a .184 BAA on the season.

At this point in the series, the Yankees are aware of Edman's splits, so there's no reason to let him face a lefty, especially with guys like Gavin Lux and Kike Hernandez hitting around him.
