The Warriors are playing their second game in as many days after getting torched by the Spurs last night. Tired legs never help against a facilitator like Harden. Harden has averaged 8.1 assists per game with the Cavs and he’s shockingly only played 5 games with their primary group of himself, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen. I expect the Cavs to want to see more of that lineup today as they prepare for the postseason - this should slightly mitigate some blowout risk. The Warriors had been decent on the season limiting assists but not so much lately as they’ve fallen off a cliff without Curry and Butler plus Porzingis constantly being out. The Warriors recently surrendered big assist games to Stephon Castle, Jamal Murray, and even Jalen Brunson. Harden is a more capable passer than all of them. I’ll back Harden to shred this defense on Thursday night.
