When Aaron Gordon doesn’t play and Nikola Jokic does for the Nuggets this season, the Over is 20-6.
That’s most of the cap. But it just went under twice, mainly on account of the fact that Nikola Jokic hasn’t looked right since coming back from his knee injury.
Jokic has turned the ball over a staggering amount lately, and the Nuggets have looked roughshod.
However, a week off serious basketball outside of some light jogging for five minutes last Sunday and two days of practice should open things up for the Nuggets again.
It seems like this Denver offense remains elite no matter who is in or out at any given time.
Nuggets vs Clippers Betting Predictions, Analysis
Without Ivica Zubac, the Clippers are playing center by committee and have no intention of playing Brook Lopez heavy minutes at this stage of his career.
Jokic should find an easier time against rookie Yanic Konan Niederhäuser and Isaiah Jackson brought over in the Zubac trade.
Kawhi Leonard will keep burning the nets to a crisp, and the more athletic version of this Clippers team should be able to get downhill against the Nuggets’ pick-and-roll defense.
I project this total in the 240s. So, I’m comfortable at any number.
