Duren is facing increased competition in the current Detroit lineup.

Isaiah Stewart stepped in for an injured Tobias Harris last time out and crushed, with 14 rebounds in 34 minutes.

Duren has seen a 7% decrease in rebounding rate with Stewart on the floor this season.

It's just a 47-minute sample, but it's fair to reason Duren won't dominate the same way he has been with another center out there.

Ausar Thompson has also made a difference. He's grabbing nearly seven rebounds per game.

Thompson taking up guard minutes this season that were going to non-rebounders last season, like Malik Beasley and Tim Hardaway Jr., is another strike against Duren.

This is a challenging matchup. Utah ranks third in the league in rebounding rate. They've allowed the fifth-fewest rebounds per game.

Walker Kessler is out, though Utah has actually been even better on the glass with Kessler off of the floor.

That's probably a bit noisy, but Jusuf Nurkic and company have proven to be capable fill-ins.

Pick: Jalen Duren Under 11.5 Rebounds (-130)

Reed Sheppard Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (+100)

Rockets vs Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET

Sheppard has carved out a solid role for this Rockets team, and he has been getting some good volume from deep, averaging over six attempts per game and shooting 41.9% on those attempts.

He has hit multiple triples in four of his six games this season.

Memphis has been vulnerable to three-pointers from guards, allowing the ninth-most made three-pointers to shooting guards and third-most to point guards.

We also have the possibility of some extra run for Sheppard in a blowout, with the Rockets favored by 7.5 points tonight.

Pick: Reed Sheppard Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (+100)

Bona will potentially draw the start tonight with Joel Embiid likely resting on the second night of a back-to-back.

He's an extremely weak per-minute producer and now faces increased competition in the frontcourt.

Bona has a tiny 7.1% usage rate. He's only taken 13 shots in seven games.

Bona ranks ninth on the team at 3.7 rebounds per game. He's sixth in rebound chances at 9.0.

You wouldn't expect a backup player to be among the team leaders in any metric, but Bona is behind fellow bench bigs Andre Drummond, Trendon Watford, and Jabari Walker in multiple categories.

Dominick Barlow and Paul George remain out, but Philly is actually pretty healthy right now.

Drummond, Watford, and Walker will press Bona for frontcourt minutes.

Jared McCain is also back, which won't directly impact Bona but could lead to smaller lineups.

Bona only played 14 minutes in his last start, with Watford and Drummond seeing more time off of the bench.

Foul trouble was a factor, but Philly had no problem filling those minutes with capable subs.

Pick: Adem Bona Under 11.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)

Kevon Looney Under 12.5 Points + Rebounds (+100)

Pelicans vs Mavericks, 8:30 p.m. ET

This is a playing-time fade.

Looney drew the start last night in place of Yves Missi, but he only played 15 minutes.

Karlo Matkovic was the first sub in the game and unleashed some of the best dunks of the season.

Then, Derik Queen got going early in the fourth quarter, leading head coach Willie Green to leave him out there for the entire quarter.

Missi is questionable tonight, so there's a chance he joins the mix as well.

Looney missed the first couple of weeks of the season with a knee injury, so it's hard to imagine him being overextended in a back-to-back, regardless of the competition.

Pick: Kevon Looney Under 12.5 Points + Rebounds (+100)
