The NBA regular season is back in action with a light 4-game slate this Tuesday, and I've locked in same game parlays for two of tonight's contests.

The first parlay for encapsulates a narrative that sees the Hornets' young trio shine at home against the Kings — while the second parlay focuses on a pair of former Kentucky guards set to duel it out in the nationally televised spotlight in tonight's matchup between the Nuggets and Suns.

Let's get into my NBA Same Game Parlay Strategy Guide for Tuesday, March 24.

NBA Same Game Parlay Strategy Guide for Tuesday

Nuggets vs Suns Parlay Preview

The Angle: Kentucky Guards Duel

Devin Booker 25+ Points

Though he is at Arkansas now, John Calipari has another star guard in Darius Acuff Jr. that has some saying that he is the best guard that Calipari has ever had at the college level.

Calipari said that he has coached 12 players that have gone on to score 50 points in a NBA game — and two of his star pupils will square off tonight in Phoenix.

Devin Booker enters tonight's game, having scored 25 points in eight of his last 10 games. He is averaging 29.8 points in that span, up from 25.5 per game for the season.

Booker has also scored at least 24 points in each of his last two games against the Nuggets. In two of those games, he went for 31 and 34 points.

Denver has allowed 112 points or more in eight of its last 10 games and has slipped to 21st in defensive rating this season.

Look for Booker to take advantage tonight.

Pick: Devin Booker 25+ Points

The Contrarian SGP: Murray Shines, Suns Cover

Jamal Murray 23+ Points

In 26 career games against the Suns, Jamal Murray is averaging 21.5 points, four rebounds, and 4.6 assists. In four of his last six games against them, he has scored 23 points or more. That includes 30 points in Phoenix last season.

Murray is enjoying a career-year, averaging 25.1 points per game.

Tonight, he will face a Phoenix defense that is tougher than it has been in recent years, as the Suns rank sixth in scoring defense. However, against point guards, they are 18th in 3-point attempts allowed and 19th in 3-point percentage allowed.

Murray has made eight 3s in two games against Phoenix this season, and he is shooting 39.4% from deep against them.

If Murray gets hot from the perimeter, it may led to another big scoring night for him.

Pick: Jamal Murray 23+ Points

Suns +6

The Nuggets have won four straight against the Suns; and covered the spread in three of them. They have also gotten back to full strength, getting Peyton Watson back on Sunday — although, he will miss tonight's game.

Despite that, the Nuggets have been extremely inconsistent. Over their last 10 games, they were routed by the Knicks at home and lost to Memphis, who has only won two games this month. They are also 2-3 ATS in their last five games.

The Suns snapped a five-game losing streak with 120-98 victory over the Raptors on Sunday. They still covered in a few of those losses and are 6-4 ATS over their last 10 games and 42-27-3 ATS this season.

Additionally, because of their losing streak, the Suns are 3.5 games back of the Rockets for the sixth seed, which would allow them to dodge the Play-In Tournament.

With games against the Jazz and Grizzlies ahead, they Suns will have an opportunity to string a winning streak together. However, that will require at least staying within six points tonight.

Pick: Suns +6

Kings vs Hornets Parlay Preview

The Angle: Hornets' Young Trio Shines at Home

Kon Knueppel Over 19.5 Points

The early returns from 2025 NBA Draft class suggest that it will be one of the best of this century, and last night was another example of why.

VJ Edgecombe scored 35 points without a free throw against the league's best defense. Cooper Flagg had 32 points and nine assists against the Warriors, while Ace Bailey scored 37 points against the Raptors, his third consecutive game with 25 points.

Additionally, Dylan Harper scored 21 points for the second straight game despite Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell returning last night.

The only top-five pick not in action last night was Kon Knueppel, the current favorite for Rookie of the Year.

Knueppel was likely keeping track of his peers and looking forward to his opportunity in a great matchup tonight.

In Sacramento 13 days ago, Knueppel had 24 points on 7-for-13 from the field and 5-for-8 from three.

The Kings are 19th in points allowed to shooting guards this season.

Occasionally, Knueppel may start slow, as he usually comes out five or six minutes into the first quarter before returning for his second stint. That may be a contributing factor to him having three points or less in the first quarter in five straight games.

However, one of those games was against the Kings in which he scored three points in the first quarter before scoring 21 in the final three quarters. He might just light up the Kings from the perimeter again tonight.

Pick: Kon Knueppel Over 19.5 Points

The Contrarian SGP: Miller Scores Without LaMelo Facilitating

Brandon Miller Over 19.5 Points

After being limited to 27 games last year, Brandon Miller has already doubled that total this season. He has averaged 20.4 points per game, while scoring 20 points in 32 of 54 (59%) games this season.

Since the Hornets' turnaround at the beginning of the calendar year, they have won 18 games by double-digits, and Miller has scored 20 points in 13 of those games.

That feels relevant with the spread approaching 20 points tonight, though the Hornets won by just eight in Sacramento.

However, what will really benefit Miller (and Knueppel) is the Kings' shoddy perimeter defense.

This season, the Kings are 29th in three-point percentage defense. Specifically, they are 19th in 3-pointers allowed to point guards, 22nd against shooting guards, and 26th against small forwards — which happen to be the positions for LaMelo Ball, Knueppel, and Miller.

In Sacramento, Miller scored 20 points and made two triples. He has made two 3s in 10 straight games, with 14 over his last three games.

Another big game from deep could fuel Miller's 33rd point game of the season.

Pick: Brandon Miller Over 19.5 Points

LaMelo Ball Under 7.5 Assists

What really makes the Hornets' offense difficult to defend when it is rolling is that Ball, Knueppel, and Miller are all high volume 3-point shooters. They each made over three triples per game while attempting eight or more per game.

As a result, the Hornets have surged to fifth in offensive rating.

In Sacramento, they each scored 20 points while Ball led the way with 30 points.

You would think big scoring nights from his primary wing shooters would lead to more assists from Ball, but he finished with just five in that game.

Ball is averaging 7.1 assists per game this season, but he has recorded seven or more in just two of his last 10 games. He is averaging 5.7 assists per game in that span.

Ball's own scoring has been a factor. He has scored 21 points in five of his last eight games, with 29 or more in three of the last five games.

However, Miller and Knueppel can both create their own offense, either off the dribble or initiating the pick-and-roll themselves.

So, while Ball is a willing passer, it will be tough for him to get seven or eight assists if Miller and Knueppel are creating for themselves while Ball is also scoring himself.

Pick: LaMelo Ball Under 7.5 Assists
