The big thing here is that the Trail Blazers are a great back-to-back team.
The Blazers have been one of the best teams in the league in these spots, and with this current iteration of the roster (all young, high-energy, hustle players), they've been consistently strong on the second night of a back-to-back.
Over the last three seasons, they are well above 57% ATS in that situation, which is a really solid mark.
The Blazers are coming off the Boston game, and travel could be a factor.
There are warnings for more weather in Boston and potential travel delays, but let’s assume they are able to get out without major issues.
On the other side, the Wizards appear to be right back in tank mode.
The Wizards had a brief stretch where it looked like they were playing real basketball, but that didn't last.
Even though they competed reasonably well against the Hornets this weekend, the overall form has slipped again.
One notable factor is Trey Johnson's increased role. I love Trey and think he's going to be a star in this league, but right now he's a plus-minus problem.
