This is the second meeting of the season between these two teams, with the Wildcats having prevailed by one point on the road in mid-January.

While Kentucky has been rather inconsistent and has battled injuries all season long, it's — by a wide margin — the superior team in this matchup.

While the Wildcats’ first victory against LSU required a major second-half comeback just to win by one point, Mark Pope’s bunch was shorthanded and playing in a tough SEC atmosphere in Baton Rouge.

Kentucky has been far from convincing as of late — dropping five of its last seven contests — but I expect the Wildcats to be very motivated to make a statement on Wednesday.

Pick: Kentucky -7.5

Out in the Midwest, two former Pac-12 teams go head-to-head as USC (18-13) faces off against Washington (15-16) in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.

These two programs are a combined 7-13 over their last 10 games, so this one doesn't have much of an impact from an NCAA Tournament perspective.

However, there's an edge from a betting standpoint, according to our Action PRO projections. Our projections say that this spread should be closer to +3 or +3.5, creating a nice +6.7% edge or a B+ grade.

The Trojans have dealt with a lot of injuries this season (including their leading scorer Rodney Rice), and now they don't have their second-leading scorer, Chad Baker-Mazara, who left the program at the beginning of March.

Regardless, Eric Musselman has Ezra Ausar and Alijah Arenas at his disposal, so this spread should be much closer.

Pick: USC +5.5

In the Mountain West Tournament, three-win Air Force faces off against 20-11 Nevada from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

I'm on the total, and it isn't just because we're dealing with a team that's 3-28.

In fact, location matters for this one, as I have a Bet Labs Sports Insights system — "Stadium Unders" — that likes under 139.5 in this tilt out West.

This system has a superb 26% return on investment (ROI) all-time and a 19% ROI (64-39 record) this season alone, which means the value is solid.

In college basketball, games played in specific arenas (in this case, the Thomas & Mack Center) often trend under due to consistent environmental and stylistic factors tied to the venue rather than neutral-court unfamiliarity.

Many of these stadiums — both home and neutral — feature deeper backdrops, unique lighting and court setups that slow pace and limit shooting efficiency.

Teams playing in these environments — especially those coming off an under in their previous outing (Nevada and Air Force just played to an under in their last meeting) — tend to continue that pattern as coaches emphasize defense and control over tempo.

Across multiple seasons, these venues have shown a reliable tendency for lower-scoring outcomes, making the under a favorable position in stadiums where shooting rhythm and offensive flow are historically harder to sustain.

Pick: Under 139.5
