The Green Bay Packers (5-2) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5) will kick off the Sunday afternoon slate of NFL Week 8. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. The game will be broadcast on FOX and can be streamed on platforms like YouTube TV.
The Packers are consensus 4-point favorites over the Jaguars (Packers -4) with the game total set at 49.5. Green Bay is -210 on the moneyline to win outright, while Tennessee is +170 to pull off the upset.
Green Bay won 24-22 last week over the Texans, its fifth win in six games. Jordan Love had 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions against Houston, while Josh Jacobs continued his strong play and is averaging 77 rushing yards per game this season. Jacksonville won 32-16 over the Patriots last week in London. Tank Bigsby powered the offense with 118 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, while Trevor Lawrence averaged 9.7 yards per pass attempt.
Let's get into my Packers vs. Jaguars prediction and my NFL picks and predictions for Week 8.
Packers vs. Jaguars Expert Picks
Spread
I project this spread as Packers -3, so I'm going to take the extra point with the Jaguars. This might seem like a bad spot for Jacksonville, but I disagree. This is a spot to fade the Packers.
Moneyline
I'm taking the points and not betting the Jaguars moneyline.
Over/Under
I'm not betting on this game's total.
My pick: Jaguars +4

Packers vs. Jaguars NFL Week 8 Preview
On the surface, this is not a great spot for the Jaguars. They just played two straight games in London and now return home to face a red-hot Packers team.
I’d argue, though, that this is a worse spot for Green Bay. Jacksonville has done the “two games in London and return home” thing before. The Packers, meanwhile, just won an exciting game against the Texans and have the Bears on deck next week before the bye week.
The Jaguars bounced back last week and trounced the Patriots. I think this could be a sleepy spot for the Packers, while the Jaguars can carry over some momentum from a much-needed win.
I also think the Packers defense has some regression coming. Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley’s unit is playing above its head right now. Green Bay has benefited greatly from turnovers and ranks 31st in EPA per play on early downs and 30th when you remove turnovers. The Jaguars are 11th and seventh in those categories.
Also, the Jaguars are getting cornerback Tyson Campbell back, which is massive. Jacksonville playing man coverage with a bad group of cornerbacks for a good portion of this season so far just hasn’t worked out.
The Jaguars offensive metrics are good. They still need to figure out how to convert in the red zone, but the general efficiency is still there. Jacksonville’s offense gets a matchup with a vulnerable Packers defense that is living off turnovers.
The Packers closed as a 2.5-point favorite against the Rams and are now laying almost four points against the Jaguars. I don’t buy it, so I’m taking the points with Jacksonville.
Pick: Jaguars +4
