The Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) and Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) will kick off the Sunday afternoon slate of NFL Week 8. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland. The game will be broadcast on CBS and can be streamed on platforms like Paramount+ and YouTube TV.
The Bengals are consensus 2.5-point favorites over the Eagles (Bengals -2.5) with the game total set at 48. Cincinnati is -145 on the moneyline to win outright, while Philadelphia is +120 to pull off the upset.
The Eagles won 28-3 last week over the Giants. Saquon Barkley ran for 176 yards against his former team, while Jalen Hurts had 3 touchdowns (1 passing, 2 rushing). The Bengals won 21-14 over the Browns despite only gaining 223 yards of offense. Both Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase scored a touchdown in the win.
Let's get into my Eagles vs. Bengals prediction and my NFL picks and predictions for Week 8.

Eagles vs. Bengals NFL Week 8 Preview
Yes, the Eagles destroyed the Giants last week. I’m still not a believer.
The Eagles defense has plenty of holes, especially in the secondary. That’s the weakness that will be exploited here. I trust that Joe Burrow and his receivers will be able to efficiently move the ball up and down the field here.
The only thing that gives me pause in this pick is that tackle Orlando Brown’s status for the game is up in the air. You could have Cody Ford playing tackle for the Bengals in Brown’s place, which would be less than ideal against the Eagles front seven.
The key here, though, is that I’m getting Burrow against a good team. He’s 16-7 against the spread in his career against teams that are over .500. I like getting the more desperate team that’s playing at home.
The Eagles offense is banged up, too. Tight end Dallas Goedert is probably going to miss this game, and tackle Jordan Mailata is on injured reserve. That’s bad news for an Eagles offensive line that already is missing Jason Kelce, who retired during the offseason. I’m not confident in this offensive line without Mailata protecting Jalen Hurts’ blind side against Trey Hendrickson.
The Philly offensive line was already giving up too much pressure, so this is trending downward.
I’d play anything under -3 here and am backing Cincinnati.
Pick: Bengals -2.5
