Commanders vs Cowboys Preview

There’s some uncertainty in the injury department for both teams, especially at the wide receiver position.

However, there is a good chance the Cowboys are a lot healthier at WR than they have been in recent weeks, which may give them a distinct advantage in a matchup that's expected to be a shootout with the total set at 54.5.

It’s a different story for the Commanders. Noah Brown is on injured reserve, and there's been no confirmation regarding the availability of Terry McLaurin.

With Jayden Daniels somewhat underperforming to start his sophomore campaign, Washington’s offense has been uninspiring so far this season.

The timing has been off for the Commanders' offense, affected by injuries and contract holdouts, and their defense is plain bad.

Meanwhile, Dak Prescott is playing at an incredible level for the Cowboys.

So far, Prescott has been one of the top quarterbacks in the league based on performance metrics, and he's been doing it without his top receiver, CeeDee Lamb, for most of this run.

Much of the credit goes to new offensive coordinator Klayton Adams. The Cardinals’ offense has cratered since Adams left the team, and while injuries have played a part in their demise, he was clearly an integral part of Arizona's success, and it's translated to Dallas so far this season.

Commanders vs Cowboys Prediction, Moneyline Pick

With all the injury uncertainty at the wide receiver position, and given the way Prescott has been playing for Dallas recently, I think this is a coin-flip game for the Cowboys at home against the Commanders' sluggish offense.

This feels like one of those games where whichever team has the ball last is going to win.

I'll take my chances with Dallas at plus-money at home in this spot.

Pick: Cowboys Moneyline (+110)
