Another winning day for NHL PRO Projections for shot on goal picks Sunday — what else is new?
With NHL odds out for Monday, we're back with the hottest hockey props our expert data has to offer: Shot on goal picks, and a +533 parlay for NHL Monday.
The objective is really simple. We make shot predictions for each skater and compare them to the over/unders in the market, then decide where the biggest discrepancies are.
Tonight's predictions are in Kings vs. Blackhawks, Lightning vs. Panthers and Sharks vs. Maple Leafs. Let's have a night!
NHL Picks, Shot on Goal Predictions, Parlay for 3/3
The theme of tonight's picks and parlay is overs. Projections show three favorable matchups on Monday.
Let's start with the Blackhawks vs. Kings game, where Adrian Kempe is projections top shot-on-goal pick.
The Kings' forward is admittedly slumping of late. He's recorded just two or fewer shots on net in five straight since the 4 Nations Face-Off.
However, prior to that, Kempe had at least four in 10 of the past 12. It's a good get-right spot vs. the Blackhawks, and our models calculate a shots prediction of 3.2 for Kempe.
Second up is Jake Guentzel in Lightning vs. the Panthers. His over/under is 2.5 shots on net, and we advise bettors take the over. Considering our shot tally for Guentzel is precisely 2.5, betting the over at plus money is a solid price grab.
Lastly, William Nylander of the Leafs over 2.5 shots vs. the Sharks rounds out today's best NHL picks. Toronto's high-powered offense rang up six goals yesterday on Pittsburgh, and now draws one of the worst defenses in hockey. PRO models forecast Nylander for 3.3 shots on net tonight.
All three parlayed is a +533 bet at BetMGM.
