Strong trends. As the Wolves continue to adjust to life without Donte DiVincenzo, one player who consistently makes a winning impact when given extra responsibilities is Mike Conley. By effectively moving the ball, pushing the pace in transition, and facilitating for his teammates, he has had a positive effect on the team. Conley is also regaining his confidence within the starting unit. With that said, one area I’m attacking tonight is his assists. When playing 23+ minutes against bottom-15 defenses that are are allow bottom-10 in points in the paint permitted, Conley is averaging 6.3 assists per game and clearing 5+ assists in 8 of 9 instances. ATL allows 30.08 assists (2nd most) in January and a league-high 14 AST at the RIM where he’s converting on 46% (team-high) of his assists at since DDV’s injury. Ant, Randle, Gobert should all be great targets tonight. #PlayerProps

The Hawks face off against the Timberwolves on Monday for what is a pretty tough matchup and they will be without both Trae Young and Jalen Johnson. Without them, there will be plenty of assist opportunities to be had for the Hawks. While the natural inclination would be to turn to Dyson Daniels or Vit, I like the idea of targeting Bogdanovic. This season, his assists double per 100 w/o Trae from 2.3 to 5.6. He has also exceeded this line in 11/13 games and averaging 4.5 assists without Trae and JJ. There are obviously a few new variables such as Dyson, Vit, and Zaccharie but I think we can see Bogdanovic setting up his teammates in this matchup. He did miss this line with just 1 assist against Chicago a few weeks ago without both Trae and Jalen; however, he recorded 6 potentials in just 20 minutes - he was a bit limited as he was completely ineffective going just 1/10 from the field and wound up not playing anything 4Q minutes. I don’t expect that to happen again. I will ladder this up as the alts are borderline exponential given the low ask of 2.5.
