Both the Magic and the Nuggets rank top 10 in PPG in the first half of action. The Magic have obviously had their struggles on offense but what happened last night was even bad for their standards, shooting just 39% from the field. They got embarrassed by the Hornets on their home floor, the type of flat performance that is typically followed by an explosion from prideful teams, which the Magic are. I’m not interested in the full game over because I don’t trust the offense in its current form to stay locked in throughout all 48 but I think they’ll pair a more efficient start with some difficulty figuring out how to slow down Jokic/Murray.
