These are two very different teams of late. The Clippers are 10-1 to the under since the James Harden trade, but the Warriors have been playing in high-scoring games lately. They're 7-3 to the over in the last 10 games, but with the Clippers on a back to back and Draymond Green back for the Warriors, I think we see a lower-scoring game.

In the first eight games of the season with Green, the Warriors were 5-3 to the under. The Clippers went over last game, but that was an ideal spot for them, and I think tonight is a letdown spot. Play the under to 226.

Pick: Under 228 (-110)

Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Assists (-139) & 6+ Assists (+135)

Stephen Curry is going to need to take on an increased role as a facilitator after Chris Paul’s injury. This season he has averaged only 4.1 assists on 7.3 potential assists per game, but in the last game where CP3 left early due to injury, Curry recorded six assists on 10 potential assists.

This output is more in line with last season when Curry averaged 6.3 dimes on 11 potentials.

In addition to Paul’s injury, the Warriors also received bad news that Gary Payton II will also miss some time. This injury should force the Warriors to lean even more into their offense to win games.

Today, Curry faces the Clippers, who are on the second night of a back to back and also are playing their third game in four days. This is also a team that he recorded nine and six assists against last season.

I'm betting Curry over 4.5 assists at BetRivers and to record six or more assists at +135 on FanDuel.

Pick: Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Assists (-139 | BetRivers) & 6+ Assists (+135 | FanDuel)

Pacers vs. Heat

Myles Turner Under 15.5 Points (-120)

The over/under for this game is 239.5, and while I don’t know which direction I’d lean given the contrast of styles between the Heat and Pacers, if it does go over, I think the Pacers will be perimeter oriented against a defensively soft backcourt.

Well… relative to, you know, Bam Adebayo.

Jimmy Butler and Haywood Highsmith are both questionable to play tonight after sitting on Tuesday against the Bucks, who exploited some holes on the Heat’s perimeter defense. That said, Myles Turner won’t be able to do, say, what Giannis Antetokounmpo did. For Turner, you’d be asking him to hit shots and/or get putbacks.

Maximize your Pacers vs. Heat action with our DraftKings promo code.

The Pacers are around the bottom five in offensive rebounds per 100 possessions and are the second-worst rebounding team per 100 possessions. The Heat aren’t great, but they’re slightly better.

Moreover, Turner has gone over 15.5 points against Adebayo only twice in his last six games, and unlike Antetokounmpo, he shouldn’t get a bunch of cheap, stupid foul calls en route to an over — not that anyone’s annoyed about that — although Butler and Highsmith would’ve helped.

I’ll trust the Pacers playing through the perimeter and the Heat’s interior defense.

Pick: Myles Turner Under 15.5 Points (-120 | DraftKings)
