Editor's Note: The Los Angeles Clippers have announced that Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out of Game 3 due to a right knee issue. For real-time injury updates, check out our FantasyLabs NBA news page.

The Los Angeles Clippers travel home to California to continue their best-of-five series against the Phoenix Suns.

The Clippers are playing surprisingly good basketball without their co-star Paul George, but I expect an even tighter rotation as they get deeper in the series.

For this contest, the Clippers are 2.5-point home underdogs. They take on a Suns squad that is 9-1 when Kevin Durant is active.

Both teams are in the bottom eight in defensive rating amongst all playoff teams in a small two-game sample size, and tonight's total is 227 points.

On Thursday, I will trust three Clippers players who feel confident in their roles and are hoping to make an impact in a pivotal Game 3.

Let's get into my favorite same-game parlay to bet for Suns vs. Clippers.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+160 at DraftKings)

  • Kawhi Leonard 25+ Points (-285)
  • Norman Powell 12+ Points (-330)
  • Eric Gordon 2+ 3-Pointers Made (-250)

Kawhi Leonard 25+ Points (-285)

After a long recovery from an ACL injury, Kawhi Leonard is officially back to playing heavy minutes and carrying the load for the Clippers.

Without George, Leonard has been the primary go-to guy on offense. Leonard is averaging 28.8 points per game in regular-season contests, playing at least 32 minutes alongside Russell Westbrook.

In the playoffs, his minutes have noticeably dialed up from 33.0 to 40.0 a game in the two outings, resulting in him scoring 31 and 38 points while averaging 22 field goal attempts.

It's obvious to expect the Suns to come into Game 3 with adjustments that make it harder for Kawhi to score, but his heavy volume makes me confident he will achieve this lowered points total even with a modest performance.

Norman Powell 12+ Points (-330)

Powell has played an integral role off the bench as the Clippers' sixth man. His scoring is needed most, and his usage skyrockets in non-Kawhi minutes.

Powell averaged 20.0 points per game without George in the six regular-season matchups playing alongside Westbrook and Leonard. He scored at least 12 points in all six of those games.

In the playoffs, Powell has seen an increase from 23 to 28 minutes a game, which shows Tyronn Lue's growing trust in his role on the team.

In the last outing, Powell scored 12 points on 36.4% shooting.

As previously mentioned, I expect a more concentrated effort from the Suns when it comes to defending Leonard. And that should benefit Powell's case.

Eric Gordon 2+ 3-Pointers Made (-250)

After playing alongside an unserious Rockets team earlier in the season, no player is happier on this team than Eric Gordon, who now gets to play big minutes on a playoff squad.

Without George, Gordon consistently drained at least two 3-pointers in all eight games during the regular season, averaging 5.8 attempts on 22.7 minutes an evening.

What makes me like this prop even more is his expanded role in the playoffs. Gordon has seen a 9.8-minute increase and has attempted 16 3-pointers in this series' two games.

On top of that, Gordon has attempted 40.0% of the team's 3-pointers in the playoffs.

Without Reggie Jackson, John Wall and Luke Kennard, the Clippers will need to lean more on Gordon's sharpshooting volume to beat the Suns in Game 3.
