The Golden State Warriors were able to fend off elimination Wednesday night while leading for the majority of the game. Their biggest lead of the night was as high as 18 points, which was not too far off from their eventual 15-point home victory (121-106).

Both Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins really stepped up offensively in different ways.

First it was Draymond getting out to a quick start, scoring eight first-quarter points and providing the Warriors with a big spark. He ended the game with 20 points.

As for Wiggins, he hit some big shots from all over the court, going 10-of-18 for 25 points.

For the Lakers, although as of Wednesday afternoon he wasn't in concussion protocol, the health of Anthony Davis remains an issue after he suffered an elbow to the head going up for a rebound late in the fourth quarter of Game 5.

Although he is expected to play Friday night, this is still an important thing to monitor, not only before tip, but throughout the game as well.

Despite the uncertainties, the Lakers find themselves as home favorites as they return to Crypto.com Arena in hopes of eliminating the defending champion Warriors.

I like leaning on some Golden State props for my same game parlay. Here's a closer look:

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay (+289):

  • Draymond Green Over 7.5 Rebounds (-125)
  • Andrew Wiggins Over 2.5 Assists (+126)

Draymond Green Over 7.5 Rebounds

Green has been very important for the Warriors on both ends of the floor. He's had a big impact this postseason against the Lakers when it comes to rebounding, including logging 10 or more boards in three of the last four games of this series.

Along with that, he's also played big minutes, contributing 30 and 37 minutes of game time over the last two contests.

The Lakers are a good rebounding team and can be very active on the offensive glass, so it's imperative Green once again contributes in that category.

In an elimination game, expect more big minutes from Draymond, and if he's able to avoid foul trouble, then taking Over his rebounding total looks like a great bet.

Andrew Wiggins Over 2.5 Assists

Both teams have had some very unlikely heroes step up and have big scoring games, so it's difficult to trust backing Over any player's set points total.

One thing that has been consistent all year for the Warriors is their ability to share the rock.

In the regular season, they led the Association in team assists per game at 29.6. Thus far in the postseason, the Warriors have kept that trend up, leading all playoff teams in assists per game at 28.4.

This postseason, Andrew Wiggins has contributed big minutes that have gone well into the 30s. He has logged 30 or more in all but one game thus far.

Looking at his stats as a whole in these playoffs, one number that has been way up over the past few contests has been his assists. Despite only averaging 2.3 in the regular season, he's logged four, four and most recently five.

With how effective he was in Game 5, the big minutes he logs and Wiggins trending towards the Over in this stat, take this assist total, which is surprisingly offering a lot of value at plus-money.
