Victor Wembanyama player props are going to become more popular with each passing game this season. It took exactly five games for the NBA rookie sensation to show how high his ceiling can be in the league when Wemby scored a career-high 38 points against the Suns on the road. Now he heads back to San Antonio for a home matchup against the Raptors Sunday.
Here's how Action Network's prop projections are looking at Wembanyama's player props for Raptors vs Spurs.
Victor Wembanyama Player Prop Odds
Wembanyama's recent scoring outburst will likely put the spotlight on his points prop. In five games, his props line has been fairly consistent, falling between 16.5 and 18.5 points. Here's how he's done in those game thus far:
- Game 1: Prop — 18.5 PTS (Result: Under)
- Game 2: Prop — 18.5 PTS (Result: Over)
- Game 3: Prop — 17.5 PTS (Result: Under)
- Game 4: Prop — 16.5 PTS (Result: Over)
- Game 5: Prop — 17.5 PTS (Result: Over)
For Sunday's matchup, Wembanyama's scoring prop is listed as high as 20.5 points. Our projections have Wembanyama listed at 19.15, which means there's a very slight edge towards the under. In fact, our tool recommends several under plays for Wemby's props today, including his blocks prop and his 3-point prop.
I'm sure you're asking: Why should I fade Wemby?
It's simple. Theres a ton of juice on the overs for his props, which means there's more value in betting against him to have another standout performance. (Yes, our projections are a bit of a wet blanket.)
Right now, you can find the best value at Caesars for the under on his blocks (u1.5, +165) and the under on his 3-pointers (u1.5, +130). For reference, Wembanyama has notched a block in every game this season with multiple blocks in three of his five games. He's hit at least two 3s in three games as well but has also gone o-for-6 and 0-for-2 in the other two games. His projections are also pretty much in line with his listed props — 1.66 projected blocks and 1.53 projected 3s.
