Auburn vs Georgia NCAAB Betting Preview
This game triggered one of our Action PRO betting systems, powered by Evan Abrams.
This system, titled “Don’t Over-think It,” focuses on straightforward logic in NCAAB totals betting by identifying games where both teams have shown a consistent trend toward high scoring.
When both the home and visiting teams have gone Over in at least half of their games, it signals that offensive rhythm and tempo outweigh defensive variance.
These matchups often feature teams comfortable in fast-paced environments, with shooting efficiency and possessions driving outcomes above expectations.
By targeting games with closing totals within a reasonable range, the system avoids inflated lines.
It capitalizes on spots where the market may hesitate to adjust enough to account for sustained offensive performance, proving that sometimes the simplest angle is the right one.
Auburn vs. Georgia Betting Analysis
While I'm always wary of backing the highest overs on the board, I do project this total around 176.5.
Auburn's offense has exceeded my expectations this season. Tahaad Pettiford is an elite dribble creator, and UCF transfer Keyshawn Hall has been a dynamite scorer, averaging over 20 points per game.
On the other end, Auburn's defense has slightly underperformed, and I believe Georgia's offense – which ranks third nationally in 2-point shooting (62%) — should take advantage.
The Bulldogs are insane in transition, currently leading the nation in transition points per game (30) at a whopping 1.28 points per possession. They should roll over Auburn's sketchy transition defense (1.17 PPP allowed, 10th percentile).
The pace of this game should be wicked high — I'm projecting 76 possessions — and as long as both teams hit their shots, we could see an 180-point game.
My Pick: Over 173.5 or Better
