Virginia vs Duke Pick, Betting Preview
Duke’s defense is horrific.
The Blue Devils rank 117th or worse nationally in EPA per pass allowed, PFF’s Coverage grades, and Defensive Finishing Drives.
With J’Mari Taylor and Harrison Waylee returning, I also expect Virginia to break plenty of explosive rushes. Those two have a combined 24 explosive runs this season, and Waylee is averaging over four yards after contact per rush.
I expect Virginia to be in scoring position all night.
Meanwhile, Darian Mensah has been on a heater. Since Week 4, he’s thrown for 16 touchdowns with just two interceptions.
He’ll see Cover One and Quarters coverage coming from the Virginia secondary, and Mensah is explosive against both.
So, I love the Over.
Pick: Over 58.5 or Better
