Joe Mixon

Longest Rush Under 12.5 (-122)

Header Trailing Logo

By Sean Koerner

Mixon has topped a longest rush of 12.5 yards in 7-of-11 games this season, but four of those happened during the first four weeks of the season when his O-line was fresh. Since then, he’s just 3-of-7 with a single rush clearing this mark each time. In other words, 3-of-102 attempts after Week 4 have cleared this number.

Mixon, who has a lot of wear and tear from seven years in the NFL (nearly 1,600 career carries, including the playoffs), now faces a Jaguars defense that is first in rush DVOA.

The Jags have surrendered a rush over 12.5 yards in 7-of-11 games. However, in the games they didn’t, they were favored in three of them. They’re double-digit favorites for Monday Night Football and will force Jake Browning to beat them.

Mixon saw a stacked box on just 18% of his rush attempts with Joe Burrow under center (seventh lowest out of 65 RBs). Last week with Browning, he saw a stacked box on 62% of his rush attempts, which would rank first just ahead of Derrick Henry.

Cincy had time of possession for just 22:43 last week against Pittsburgh – the Jags should be able to control TOP in this one as well.

Note: The line for this has moved to 11.5 at most sportsbooks.

Pick: Joe Mixon Longest Rush Under 12.5

Zay Jones

Anytime TD Scorer (+375)

Header Trailing Logo

By Gilles Gallant

Jones has two touchdowns and seven red-zone targets in just five games this season. He's been out with injury for most of this campaign, but he's back healthy and off the injury report.

The Bengals defense is 19th in DVOA against the pass and is missing starting CB Cam Taylor-Britt. I love Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk in this matchup, as well, but both are below +200. That means we're going to take a swing on Jones.

Pick: Zay Jones Anytime TD Scorer (+375)

Travis Etienne

Over 16.5 Rush Attempts (+114)

By Matt Trebby

Sean Koerner has Etienne projected for 17.5 rush attempts on Action Labs. Combine that with the likely game script for this game, and I’m sold.

Etienne has gone over this total seven times in 11 games this season, and the Jaguars are 6-1 when he does. It’s not some big secret as to why that’s the case. When Jacksonville is ahead in a game, the ball gets run a little more often.

Obviously, the Jags have the edge tonight. No Joe Burrow for the Bengals means Cincinnati is in trouble. I expect Jacksonville to have a sense of urgency to maintain its AFC South lead with both the Colts and Texans at 7-5, and the safest path toward victory here is on the ground.

The Bengals are 29th in DVOA against the run this season. Jacksonville won’t want to be over-adventurous, knowing that Cincinnati is likely to struggle offensively. Again, with an RB like Etienne, giving him the ball is the safe plan.

I wouldn’t play this above 16.5, so be sure to get that number and possibly +100 at DraftKings while you can.

Note: If you want something a little safer, FanDuel is offering over 15.5 (-122) as of 5:40 p.m. ET.

Pick: Travis Etienne Over 16.5 Rush Attempts (+100)

Ja'Marr Chase

Anytime TD Scorer (+235)

Header Trailing Logo

Ja’Marr Chase at +200 or more for an anytime touchdown? Yes, please!

Elite playmakers know how to find the end zone regardless of who is under center, and Chase certainly ranks among the league’s elite. He has also performed admirably with Jake Browning thus far, catching five passes for 83 yards and one touchdown in six quarters.

Browning has been below average since taking over for Joe Burrow, but he’s at least been serviceable. That’s more than you can say about many of the backups we’ve seen this year. He should also drop back to pass plenty as the Bengals will likely be in a negative game script against the Jaguars.

You’re never certain what you’ll get from quarterbacks like Browning from week to week, which is why I consider this a dart play. Still, if you're looking for some action Monday night, there are worse shots to take.

Books vary wildly on a Chase anytime TD, so be sure to check around before placing your bet.

Pick: Ja'Marr Chase ATD

Jake Browning

Anytime TD Scorer (+1100)

Header Trailing Logo

By Gilles Gallant

I'm taking a small risk (0.25 units) on this one.

The Bengals' run game hasn't been efficient this season — they're last in total rushing yards by a significant margin and bottom three in touchdowns.

Quarterback Anytime TD odds for pocket passers are usually in the range of +500 to +800. At +1200, I’m willing to take a swing on Browning somehow finding the end zone.
