The Bulls catching 2 feels like a gift. The Nets return home after a 3 game trip, they’ve dropped 5 straight, lost 8 of their past 9. The bloom is off the rose for a team that looked like it was turning a serious corner in December. I think the spread on this game is reflective of a power rating reality that has not yet caught up to this Nets team. When you look at the tale of the tape, Chicago is better at just about everything. Points, rebounds, assists, turnovers, net rating, fast break points, and on and on. Also, for the cherry on top, it’s a revenge spot, with the Nets taking one in Chicago to start their December heater.

The Brooklyn Nets host the Chicago Bulls on Friday night and I’ll target MPJ in what could be one of his last games as a Net. This is a great matchup for MPJ in a peak Pace Up game against the Bulls. He dropped 33 against them earlier this season as they're extremely weak at the rim and from beyond the arc with a bottom 10 aDRTG. When MPJ plays teams top 10 in Pace he averages 30.6 ppg going over this mark in 8/9 games. He is a total mismatch size wise against this Bulls team and he should find success as Brooklyn continues to bolster his trade value.
