With the series shifting to Phoenix, the Suns in an 0-2 hole, and Chris Paul ruled out for Game 3, both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are primed for massive usage.
The duo have already dominated the offensive output for the Suns this series, combining for 115 of the Suns 194 points. However, with the absence of Paul, I’m specifically focusing on Booker and his points and assists prop for Game 3.
Booker has cleared this line in four of the Suns' seven playoff games this season, and he’s averaged 40.1 points and assists per 40 minutes across 15 full games he’s played with Durant.
And without Paul, the ball will be in Booker’s hands more, as Phoenix will look to him to initiate the offense. The three time All-Star has already been ultra aggressive in these playoffs, averaging 16.3 drives per game and 10.3 potential assists. I see both those numbers going up in Game 3, as Booker will continue to stay aggressive.
When you have two superstars on the same team, such as Booker and Durant, the conventional question is “whose game will it be?” Well, even in a scenario with Durant going off, there will be plenty of usage for Booker to thrive.
I have the Kentucky product projected at 42 points and assists, and I’d play this line up to over 39.5.
