This line is a gross overreaction to two poor games against strong Center defenses in Cleveland and San Antonio. Ware now gets a matchup against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls play at the third-fastest Pace in the NBA with the fourth-worst defense. They have also been getting crushed by Centers of late with Duren, Porzingis, Jokic, Ayton, and Mark Williams all exceeding their points line recently. Ware has been seeing minutes consistently in the mid to upper 20s lately. When he’s been given the opportunity to play 20+ he’s averaged 16 points and exceeded this mark in 6/10 games. I’ll buy low on Ware in this spot.

Backing Tyler Herro after a poor shooting game vs the Spurs (4/15 FG, 0/7 3PT.) Herro gets a dream matchup vs the Bulls who are dead last in attempts allowed in the restricted area and the above break 3 which is where all of Herro’s shot volume stems from. Herro’s scoring splits and usage increase big time in road games as he takes on a larger load averaging over 25 points compared to 22 at home. Bulls are a bottom three team in assists allowed per game and in the last 10 games Herro is averaging 13+ assist chances which is tied for the 8th most league wide. Herro is also averaging 9+ rebound chances per game in the last 10 which is good for 23+ RA chances giving us a nice cushion. Should see 35+ mins tonight in a fast paced matchup.
