NFL Player Props: Bet Zamir White in Broncos vs Raiders
Zamir White has been a productive workhorse whenever he gets a chance to fill in for Josh Jacobs (out in Week 18). He's averaged 95 rushing yards in the three games that Jacobs missed this season. I’m expecting a massive role and love his upside today.
The Raiders and Broncos are both out of playoff contention with nothing to compete for, but Vegas may be motivated to play for HC Antonio Pierce as he makes his case auditioning for a full-time job.
Pierce is a very big “establish the run” guy, and it should be fairly easy to lean into the running game here. According to Jacob Gibbs of SportsLine, White’s 3.34 yards after contact per rush ranks sixth amongst 54 qualified running backs.
The Broncos are awful in every rushing defensive statistic – allowing the most yards per carry (5.28), second-most rushing yards (118.81), and they rank 30th in FTN’s Rush DVOA mode. Additionally, under a Jarrett Stidham-led Broncos offense, one could expect a game script that stays close enough to benefit White’s usage on the ground.
Paired with the favorable matchup and lack of competition in the backfield, I love White’s chances of going over his rushing yards prop.
