Cowboys vs. Raiders
One last bet before we ride off into the regular season.
We made it, folks. The last weekend of preseason games, and we can’t end August without a bet on this Raiders team!
Including the 2022 Hall of Fame Game, Josh McDaniels’ Raiders are 6-0 straight-up in the preseason. Clearly, the man cares about these games. Even better, on Saturday night they face the Cowboys, who clearly don’t.
Dak Prescott and 90% of Dallas’ offensive starters haven’t played a game in the preseason. Now, after losing two rookies to knee injuries this past week, head coach Mike McCarthy already said it’ll mostly be the Cowboys’ third-stringers to close this game.
Bet Las Vegas vs. Dallas at FanDuel
Now, time to talk about our hero and future starting quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders: fourth-round rookie Aidan O’Connell. Check out his preseason stats so far:
- 125.23 QB Rating
- 26-of-36 passing (72.2%)
- 304 yards (8.4 yards per attempt)
- Three TDs to zero INTs
The 24-year-old out of Purdue fits McDaniels’ system like a glove.
I'm taking Raiders -4.5 on Saturday night and would bet them up to -5.5. Get the latest spread with our NFL odds page.
