Seahawks ML (-125)

There's a lot of bad in this game, but Seattle's offense is the one definite good. The Seahawks have been one of the most effective rushing teams in the league, and Geno Smith has picked up where he left off after winning Comeback Player of the Year. Seattle ranks in the top quarter of the league both running and passing by DVOA, and this Giants defense has been miserable.

Wink Martindale loves to blitz all night and will bring the heat, and Smith struggles against pressure and is missing his tackles. But if he can get the ball out quickly, he and that WR trio of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba can carve this secondary up.

It might be time to trust this Seattle offense. I like Seattle here. They're just the better team, and this offense looks worth believing in

Pick: Seahawks ML (-125)

This is a mismatch in the trenches on Monday night.

The Seahawks rank fourth in the league in adjusted line yards created at 4.6 yards per carry. The Giants front ranks 25th in rush defense according to DVOA. Thus far the New York defense has surrendered 70 rushing yards to Tony Pollard, 106 to James Conner and 85 to Christian McCaffrey.

Walker entered Week 4 ranked fourth in the league in forced missed tackles per attempt (.38) out of all runners with at least 20 carries. The Seahawks offense is unlikely to face a negative game script at any point that causes them to abandon the run.

In Week 1, an outlier in several plays the Seahawks offense was on the field for caused Walker to only get 12 carries. His 17.5 carries over the previous two games feel much more like what we'll see on Monday.

With Walker's 4.6 yards per carry average and ability to create explosive runs, he should be able to rush for 70+ yards against a vulnerable New York defense.

Pick: Kenneth Walker Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-113; Bet to 65.5)

Darren Waller Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

There was a ton of hype surrounding Darren Waller heading into the season, but the tight end has been disappointing through the first three weeks of the season.

The Giants need to get him going, and I like his chances to do just that against a Seahawks defense that struggles against his position. Tight ends are averaging 55.7 yards per game against Seattle, which was sixth-most in the league heading into Week 4.

Meanwhile, Daniel Jones hasn’t set the world on fire, but he has a tasty matchup against a Seahawks defense allowing 328.0 yards per game through the air. That’s the second-worst in the NFL. In its defense, Seattle’s secondary’s been snakebitten by injuries. The Seahawks once again be without three of their top cornerbacks this week, but they'll get two of their top playmakers in the secondary back for this game in safety Jamal Adams and cornerback Tariq Woolen.
.
Nonetheless, I like the chances of a Waller breakout game for Big Blue. The Giants have had 11 days to prepare, and I suspect they’ve cooked up ways to take advantage of this mismatch.

The line for his receiving yards ranges from 45.5 to 48.5 with various degrees of juice, so you may want to shop around before placing your bet.

Pick: Darren Waller Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
