Njoku scored in both of the Browns' games against the Steelers last season, so that's a great starting point.
The Cleveland tight end led the team with 20 red-zone targets last season. Ten of those came with Deshaun Watson at quarterback for less than half of the season. Watson also threw a touchdown to fellow TE Harrison Bryant in Week 1.
With Amari Cooper's status up in the air, that creates an opportunity for Njoku to potentially get more looks.
Freiermuth should be Kenny Pickett's top target with Diontae Johnson out.
Freiermuth is a red-zone machine. He only had four targets in Week 1 against the 49ers, but three were in the red zone. His only catch was — you guessed it — a touchdown.
With Johnson out, I expect Pickett to spread the ball around the Steelers offense more. Much like Njoku without Cooper, I'm taking the option in the middle of the offense.
