The Week 16 Christmas slate concludes with a star-studded duel between the most dominant teams in the league: the 49ers and Ravens. San Francisco boasts the best red-zone offense while the Ravens have the best red-zone defense, so it should be an exciting clash.
Over the last four weeks, the 49ers have been in impressive form, scoring touchdowns on 13-of-14 red-zone drives. But facing a Ravens defense that has allowed the lowest success rate (37.50%), the 49ers could be due for touchdown regression.
That brings us to 49ers kicker Jake Moody. He's been busy kicking extra points, but he's only attempted two field goals since Thanksgiving.
In the seven games the Ravens have won or lost by a margin of less than 10 points, the opposing kicker managed at least two field goals in five of them. Moody is 18-for-21 on field goals this season and hasn't missed since Week 7.
According to FantasyLabs, the 49ers have an implied total of 26.5 points, which bodes well for Moody's potential to be a factor in the kicking game.
The Ravens almost have to be perfect on defense to emerge victorious in this match — should this be the case, I like Moody's chances of being busy in the field-goal department and going over 1.5.
